The Ceremony: Nature's Embrace
The ceremony of Erika and Jake was a dreamy affair, full of love and joy and the warmth of family and friends. The altar, framed by palm fronds, white flowers, and pampas grass, created a beautiful setting for the ceremony. Simple and elegant wooden chairs welcomed guests to witness the union and celebrate the newlyweds.
Erika looked absolutely magnificent in a gorgeous lace dress, complemented by a natural glow from the talented Playa makeup artist Sara Tamargo. Jake, in a cool beige suit, was the epitome of tropical elegance and one handsome dude. The "first look" and the couple's portrait shoot captured by Caro Navarro showcased pure amor with the architecture and light of Villa La Joya setting the scene for some great photos.
The Welcome: A Shot of Tequila and Warmth
Guests were greeted by a "Take a shot" welcome wall of tequila, doubling as a seating chart. A table of in-memoriam photos paid tribute to loved ones who were there in spirit. A "Take a photo, leave a message" book served as a heartwarming guest book. The welcoming seating area of comfy couches was perfect for inspiring conversation as guests sipped the signature drinks created in honor of the doggos.
The Reception: Boho Elegance in Full Bloom
The boho-elegant reception was a warm and welcoming affair. Floating candles in the pool, white wooden chairs with rattan seats, crystal and candle arrangements on tables—all set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. The flowers and decor by Cherry Blossom are always a perfect reflection of the couple, everything was on point.
The night sparkled with fireworks, moving and funny toasts, and a divine cake by Lali Pasteles. Hand-rolled cigars and churros from Los Pockets added delightful touches to the evening. Erika changed into a sassy reception dress of sequins and feathers, a true knockout and the dance floor came alive!
